Recruitment for a German-owned Medical Equipment Service Company

Project Background
The client is a China office of a German-owned medical device company, mainly for Chinese users with a German mobile C-arm X-ray systems sales and technical service. The client needed to recruit a Technical Service Engineer that will be responsible for product sales work in Eastern China.

Uniland Recruitment Services
After receiving the request, the Uniland medical project team conducted in-depth exchanges with the client HR to understand the client’s history, current status, vision, and industry development. The team asked about the distribution of industries and enterprises and the work experience requirements for the candidate as well as the expected responsibilities, promotion trajectory, character, and salary.
After careful analysis, the project group considered the salary guidelines for the region, corporate culture, and strategized the search to a number of large enterprises in Shanghai. The medical project team recommended three candidates after extensive interviews and negotiations, and one of which was accepted by the client. After the initial client interviews, during the salary negotiation stage, the candidate was approached by a top 500 company. The project team actively responded to the emergency situation and communicated with the client to make a better offer, but also informed the candidate of potential training in Germany. Ultimately, with active mediation by the Uniland project team, the candidate selected the client’s offer.

Service feedback
The candidate was praised by the client after on-board and will head for training in the headquarters in Germany in March.
